ButaPro, short for Buta Productions, is an independently owned animation studio founded by producers Blou and FAR after half a decade of experience freelancing in the anime industry, contributing to works such as Bocchi the Rock!, Spy X Family, Otachan!, the Girls Frontline Opening animation, Wonder Egg Priority and many more.

After years spent working on "other people's projects" we decided to open our own studio to shift the focus on cooler, bolder and more unique pieces of animation, able to impact our broader cultural landscape.

ButaPro aims to produce high-quality and cutting-edge short-form projects (Openings, Endings, Music Videos, Short Animated Series) as well as 2D animation for animated series & movies, visual materials for animation pitches documents, translation and interpreting aimed at the Anime industry and design work for entertainment.
